Buying Dresses on Internet ?
Many Brides’ dreams have been turned into nightmares after a Wedding Dress or Bridesmaids’ Dresses have been purchased from unauthorised sellers on the Internet and the Dress has arrived damaged, 2nd hand, faulty, the wrong colour or size and not even the correct Dress! Some sellers don’t have a refund or replacement policy, therefore the Bride is left with a Dress she can not wear for her big day.
Some unauthorised Internet sellers don’t explain to the Bride that she is also responsible for the Duty and VAT charge on the Dress when it arrives in to the country. The Dress will arrive COD (cash on delivery) and will not be passed over by the courier until the charge has been paid. COD charges can be up to £80 for one Dress. If the Bride has ordered Bridesmaids Dresses too then she can expect a very high COD charge.
By ordering a Dress from an authorised Bridal store the Bride and even her Bridesmaids can receive the personal attention that she deserves and reassurance that if a situation arises the store will take full responsibility to correct matters without the Bride worrying.
What’s the delivery time for a gown?
The delivery time varies depending on the manufacturer. Typically, it can take between 12 and 20 weeks but rest assured you will be notified as soon as your gown has arrived. You should arrange to collect and pay for your dress in full within 30 days of being notified.
What if my Wedding date is less than 8 Weeks?
We have many dresses in stock which we can sell off the rail.
How do I place an order and pay?
You can place an order in store by cash or cheque (with a current bank guarantee card) and we accept most major credit cards. We can also accept orders in writing or you can pay over the phone. We can arrange an instalment plan for which details are available in store.
What is the RBA?
The Retail Bridalwear Association (RBA) consists of a carefully selected group of high quality bridalwear and mens formalwear retailers. It aims to improve the service available to the bride and groom by elevating its members to a level well beyond that of the ordinary retailer. To become a member of the RBA the retailer must fulfil certain criteria.
How many people can I bring to my Appointment?
Choose your companions carefully – it’s best to bring just one or two people whose opinions you really trust. If you bring more people, you’ll find that all their different views will be confusing.
What will Suit me ?
You will have your own ideas, but trying on is the true test, so you may fall in love with something completely different. We’ve over 21 years experience in helping brides find the most flattering styles.
What about Fittings ?
For a perfect fit, there may be adjustments to make. One or two fittings are needed, and unless you decide on made-to-measure, there will be alteration charges. These are based on the time taken by our expert alterations service to do the work. To help the fitting process, choose your shoes and lingerie as early as possible .Our expert staff can advise you .
Do you sell and hire Menswear ?

Where can I get my Dress Cleaned ?
We can help you arrange for a courier to collect for specialist cleaning, the sooner after the wedding the better. Ask for a leaflet. It’s the cleaners we use ourselves. We sell wedding dress boxes to keep the dress in great condition after it has been cleaned.
